What i eat in a typical day.

Hi Peeps today i thought i would share with you what i typically eat in a day, i’m not one for food prepping days in advance as i tend to change my mind quite a bit, but also there are days when i do not physically have the energy to do anything let alone cook and prep, but on a good day, I do decide in the morning what were are having for the rest of the day whilst sipping my coffee and waking up, and calculate the calories using the myfitnesspal app, today my 3 main meal calories came to 982, which left me with 518 spare calories, so this means if i wanted to, i would be able to have a mid morning snack, mid afternoon snack, supper, all my snacks are still weighed and stay within my calorie deficit, although i call them snacks it doesn’t technically mean that i am living on snacks, for instance i could have a desert with my lunch, or split the day into 4 or 5 separate meals, it doesn’t mean yay i can have a big bar of chocolate lol. (although i would love to)…., my favourite go to snack is hartleys sugar free jelly, i make up 2 packets and split it into 15 small pots, each pot is just 7 calories.

Breakfast 195 Calories.
A large bowl of Fat free greek yogurt, honey , watermelon and strawberries.
Lunch 300 Calories
Sweet chili prawns, salad with a mustard and honey dressing (10 cals come from the maca powder that i add to my cottage cheese)
Hard boiled egg whites, orange segments, galia melon and blueberries.

Dinner 299 Calories, cheesy chicken and roasted veggies.

Desert 188 Calories, fruit baked in mixed spice and honey, served with greek yogurt and the juice from the fruit poured over.

Hope you’ve had a good day, chat soon xx

All your food looks delicious! Would you mind letting me know how you bake your fruit? I would love to give that a go.

    1. Absolutely and thank you, I just chop up whichever fruit im using, sprinkle with some mixed spice and drizzle with honey, cover with tin foil and put into the oven at about 160 degrees for about 15-20 mins. it depends on how hard the fruit is, remove foil then turn the heat up and let the top of the fruit crisp a bit, you can pour over the juice or if you like it thicker add a little water and bring it to the boil, stirring all the time, taking care not to let the syrup burn, spoon over your ice-cream or yogurt and it sets a bit like toffee.
