Back in Control of the kitchen a good day. Diary 23/10/19

Well i’ve been back in control of the kitchen today, but tomorrow now that’s another story ha ha, we are having a new integrated oven, hob and extractor fan delivered tomorrow, I haven’t got a time frame yet, but hoping it’s in the morning as we are fitting it ourselves, im sure its just a case of slot and plug well im praying it is ha ha.

Thinking about christmas and christmas food I’ve always wanted to try a meatloaf, there in nearly every American program i’ve watched, but honestly i didn’t know what one was, so after a bit of research iv come up with my own recipe which i will put up in a seperate blog shortly, Iv named it Christmas Meat Loaf, and even the daughter liked it, so i must have done good lol.

recipe in seperate blog

Managed another short walk today, all was going well till the wind got up and it went icy cold, the cold really hurts me, I think i need to invent a wearable radiator lol, I don’t wear thermals as my temp goes from one extreme to another in a matter of minutes, but now im getting more mobile now and again it may be time to rethink the thermals.

I was up at 6am again so had a little lie in by 10am I had prepped the ingredients for the meatloaf, and prepped my snacks for the day, all weighed and calorie counted, it’s now almost 8pm and i still have 405 calories left, that hasn’t happened for a while so i think i will go and find some supper shortly, my new favourite drink is Cadburys Fudge Highlights at only 38 calories a cup I can have plenty of them throughout theses cold winter days, how lovely is it to snuggly up in winter pjs with a cup of hot choccie, I’m used to having lots of whipped cream and marshmallows on mine, and to be honest im not really missing them, well ok just a little, but that will be my treat during christmas week.

today’s snack list
Salad, prawns, Cottage Cheese, Egg Whites and Sweet Chili Sauce, Fruit Boxes, Yogurt and Rice Cakes

Had a lovely soak in the bath, lots of bubbles courtesy of Avon Vanilla Caramel bubble bath, and a Lush Butterball Bath Bomb dropped in for softness and lathered myself in Lush Honey I washed the Kids Soap absolutely divine and Banana Shampoo and Conditioner, I smell so sweet and clean I smell good enough to eat, then BOOM…… Neil reminds me that we have to remove the old oven, hob and fan… bleeping great now im going to get hot and sweaty and probably won’t smell so sweet afterwards…. just my luck ha ha.

On that note, im going to go and make a hot choccie and write out this recipe, i guess the oven will still be there at midnight lol.

Wherever you are whatever your doing smile xoxo

    1. I think I did use to suction in ha ha, it was an amazing feeling when I actually sat on my hands this year, it had been quite a while since I could do that lol, i needed a bit of help to get out as I wanted a soak so took the bath chair out, and luckily Neil has said we will get up early so i can smell sweet a bit longer lol.
