Todays recipe is very simple easy and quick to make.
Healthy Fish and Chips.
Prep time 5 mins……Cook time about 15-20 mins will depend on the heat you use.
The total calories for my lunch were 145 cals!!!! + about 20 cals for the 1 cal spray, I forgot to count them so just put an estimate in.
Il put the weight of my food in brackets, so if your calorie counting you will have to weigh your own.
- Half Courgette/Zucchini (136grm)
- Smoked Haddock Fillet (100grm) or any other fish of your choice.
- Mushrooms (105grm)
- Napolina Grated Cheese (10grm)
- Garlic Granules
- Mixed Herbs
- Fry Light /1 Cal Spray
Put the air fryer onto a high heat to warm through, or the oven on about 180/200 deg
In a bowl mix together the cheese powder and seasoning to taste.
Slice the courgette into chip like strips
Place the sliced courgette and mushrooms into a bowl and spray with 1 cal to coat them all over, add the seasoning stirring to coat all the veg.
When coated add to the air fryer, remembering to shake them every 5 mins or so to keep turning them, the same applies to using the oven.
Meanwhile cook the fish to your liking, steamed, poached dry fried etc, I poached mine with a hint of fresh lemon juice and dill.
And Voila you have a filling low fat, low calorie lunch or even a snack…
