1001 LIKES!!! Short Walk Around The Dock..

Hi guys just a quickie.

Firstly I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to you all for taking the time to like my posts, as i’ve said before we will probably never talk in real time or in the comments, but the fact, that you, have taken the time out to read and like my posts means so much to me, your appreciation is gratefully received. XOXOXO

Another glorious day again, having been woken up by young people in the passage next to our house at stupid o’clock, I gave in and got up (il not go into a rant).

By 7am I had done 3 loads of laundry and hung it all out to dry, I went back to bed just before 9am and had about 1.5hours sleep, before I was woken again this time by a car beeping its horn.

The sun had definitely warmed up and feeling a bit agitated due to lack of sleep I decided that I would go shopping with Neil and try a walk around the river, crazy I know when I’m tired but for my sanity I just wanted to pop out and shake off some cobwebs, theres only 2 shops and I take the best precautions I can ( I know that sounds a little selfish when there are people who can not leave their homes), but I wish people would respect the social distancing in the shops it seems to be disappearing Iv noticed.

Anyway the river path was flooded again, even higher than the other day, I didn’t think it could get any higher lol, so we crossed over the road and decided to see how busy the harbour was, there were just a few people working on there trawlers and we only saw 3 other families out walking so felt happy and confident walking past them, and all social distancing was kept, it feels as though it has been a lifetime since I last walked along the docks.

It was lovely to see all the trawlers in the dock but also very sad at the same time, that they are not out earning a living, It was strange to see the bridge lowered at high tide, my son is also a trawlerman and hasn’t been able to get out much, I’m not sure what the rules are on fishing I will have to ask him.

I din’t walk as much as I wanted to, I had a really strange pain going through my back and my bum as though I was being electrocuted haha, but once home Iv had a rest and just did 10 mins on the exercise bike, its to hot to cook so i’ve just decided on ham salad sandwiches for tea with a few oven chips.

I did say a quickie but once again i’ve rambled on haha, I just really wanted to come on here and say a thank you to you all for supporting me.

I’ll leave you with a few pics I took around the dock, and catch you all later xoxoxo.
