Quick update, lunch and feeling good.

All went well at the docs on Monday, im now back on the HRT after a 6 year break, Im a little wary about being back on due to family medical history and my liver problems, but my LFTs have been good for a while, Im no longer diabetic or even pre diabetic!!, my blood pressure is steady but il stay on medication for the rest of my life and my cholesterol is lower ( I wasn’t aware there was a problem there), Today I had my check up with my nurse, I was so convinced I had totally ruined all my good work and had put on at least half a stone, so i was very shocked to find I hadn’t put on any weight despite the fact iv been a junk food junkie and have been comfort eating, I was 105.4kg a few weeks back and today 104.4kg today, so iv stayed at what i was, and this has given me the motivation to carry on, All the hard work i have done i have not ruined and came away so much more happier and confident ( that was until i popped into the shop, but that’s another story).

The doctor also said on Monday that i have to start wearing hats, gloves and thermals now the weather is getting cold, I don’t do hats or coats, I like to layer my clothing as i go from hot to cold at the snap of a hat, but iv agreed to wearing a hat, so when i got home on Monday i quickly whipped one up, In fact I quite liked it so am going to whip up some more over this next week, and to be honest, while going to docs this morning I did wear the hat, and yes it made such a difference I was quite shocked, being sat in the wheelchair I really do feel the cold, and just by wearing a hat I actually felt warmer, I cant really put into words what im trying to say lol.

Well I need to go and make a start on prepping tea, so il leave you with my lunch pic and macros.

Chickpea and Spinach Salad, Greek Yogurt Honey and Strawberries.

Total Calories 254.

  • 30 grams Baby Spinach.
  • 30 grams Baby Plum Tomatoes.
  • 100 grams Canned Chickpeas ( rinsed).
  • 1 Tbs Fat Free Lemon and Black Pepper Dressing.
  • Half a red onion chopped.
  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • 100 gram Fat Free Greek Yogurt.
  • 5 grams Runny Honey.
  • 80 grams Strawberries.

I will chat soon, I need to go prep tea, and finish the border on a blanket im making.

    fab news on your tests! loving the hat by the way 🙂 I always feel a bit itchy in a hat, but i put up with it for the warmth.


    1. Thank you, I find hats make me itchy to, but could be because iv used a baby soft yarn this time, but il let you know when it’s had more use lol, iv some neon pink!!! Left over from my blanket that iv almost finished phew… Lol, so might just whip another one up in it later ha ha
