Breakfast / Snack Pots.

Today i decided to brighten up my yogurt and fruit that I always have for breakfast, I wanted to make it a bit more ‘interesting’ and colourful and make it look much more exciting to eat.

So i’ve spent a couple of hours in the kitchen playing around out of the 4 I made there is only 1 that I didn’t like the look of, the spirulina didn’t quite give the yogurt the colour i was after.

The end result was very pleasing and made them even more enjoyable to eat, please note I have only eaten 1 and the others are in the fridge for who ever wants them, of course I tucked into the glitter chocolate pot lol.

They are very easy to make, it’s just 0% fat greek yogurt, some superfood powders and any fruit that you like, I am going to invest in some more superfood powders not just for the nutritional value but for the awesome colours they produce, im so looking forward to playing around with colours, the yellow though I used a little bit of food coloring until I can find a yellow powder.

My Ingredients:

  • Cacao Super Powder
  • Red Berry Super Powder
  • Spirulina Super Powder ( not in pics)
  • 0% Fat Greek Yogurt
  • Clementines
  • Apples
  • Nectarines
  • Bananas
  • Honey Dew Melon
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Yellow food coloring
  • Edible Glitter
  • Sweet Freedom Choc Shot.

These pots are so easy and super fun to make, they are great as a breakfast, snack pot or even a desert, have fun making awesome combinations for a really healthy low fat dinner party dessert to WOW your guests with.
